Unify Nano vtx is using SmartAudio Lite with two limitations.

  • It requires 3.3V level (Standard Smartaudio accept 0.9V audio level).
  • It requires software pull low


Some are using 10k resistor to allow it to work on specific FC which does not meet the very specific hardware requirement. Many FC's do not need this resistor added.
